Low tide walk to St George’s Island, Looe Sat 9 Apr
Its a super low tide this Saturday, so if you fancy a bit of an adventure, take your welly booted self down to RNLI station at Hannafore (Looe) and join the walk to St Georges Island. Usually only accessible by boat, the unique Island holds a very low tide one or two days of the entire year, making those lucky enough to be in the area, able to access the island by foot across the rocky sea floor. Its only half a mile – but the tide turns quickly so arrive prompt to avoid being washed away! Here’s a link to last years walk (you’ll want to skip the long intro) so you can see what you might be getting yourself into.
Watch out for the tide! Little ones will need carrying over some parts.

Crabs and Critters, Bar Beach, Helford Sun 10 Apr
Prepare to get muddy (ha see what I did there?) looking for crabs and critters that live in the Helford Passage at Bar Beach on the Helford. Budding marine biologists can learn about sea potatoes, worms and molluscs from Cornwall Wildlife Trust marine biologist Matt Slater.

Inside Egg HQ have a go at our Easter egg games. Challenge yourself in our game of ‘hook a duck’! Have fun in our egg rolling race and even turn into an ‘egg-head’ yourself in our Easter ‘peep through’ wall!

The Absurdists, Bude Mon 11 Apr
Fascinated by the eclectic, the esoteric and the absurd? Then this exhibition in Bude on Monday is for you. Paintings of the imagination, humour and depth. The absurbists are William Isaacs nd Wendy Parkyn. William’s paintings depict the unusual, the offbeat and the amusing. Wendy, a landscapist delves into the world of the eccentric and bizarre.

There are cabbage farts galore in Truro on Wednsday when the Birmingham Stage Company presents Gangsta Granny, by everyone’s favourite Little Briton David Walliams! There were still tickets left (last time I checked), but we can’t make any of the shows (boo!) Muddy Stilettos reported on the show when it appeared in Brighton last month.
