Muddy says: This luxurious and secluded, one-bed self-catering hideaway above Mousehole Harbour makes the dreamiest romantic escape.
Whether you’ve just got hitched or the romance needs a little rekindling, the insanely gorgeous Fallen Angel, in the fishing village of Mousehole, is the perfect couple’s retreat.
This modern, architect-designed pad is set in sub-tropical gardens, with luxurious interiors inspired by the Morocco and Med. And it’s been lovingly created just for two, so you can enjoy some you and me time, with no interruptions.
In the garden-view bedroom (yes I’m going straight there!), you’ll find a huge super king bed, feature roll-top bath, walk-in shower for two and doors onto the fire pit patio.
Other lovely touches include a woodburner and underfloor heating for winter escapes, original art work from around the world and a welcome pack complete with Polgoon sparkling wine. All the mod cons are provided too, including HD TV, DVD Player, Sonos and Superfast Wifi. But I doubt you will need them!
This is one of my favourite parts of Cornwall and there is so much to explore, from the eateries and galleries of the village (we love Rock Pool Cafe, The Old Coastguard and The Tyler Essex Gallery) to the impossibly white sands of nearby Sennen, Gwenver and Porthcurno.
Additional services can be arranged with the owners including – private chef, breakfast hampers, picnic hampers, massage, SUP, surfing, kayaking, wild food foraging walks and much more.
