Top 50 Gastropubs revealed

Cornwall's very own St Tudy Inn makes the cut on The Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropub Awards. Roomy pants on? Let's tuck in.

Our ‘hood may be famed for the humble pasty but that doesn’t mean we can’t go all gastro when we want to, and the UK’s top foodies and pub pros seem to agree, with Cornwall making the cut for The Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropub Awards.

Organised by the Publican’s Morning Advertiser, The Top 50 Gastropub shortlist really matters in the foodie pub world, as it celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit of the great British pub that serves awesome grub. Our foodie hotspot is St Tudy Inn in Bodmin, coming in at No.24.

Headed up by director and executive chef Emily Scott, St Tudy Inn hits all the prime Cornish pub buttons – think open fire, pretty stone building, and rustic food made from local Cornish produce. The Inn also holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand reflecting its value for money. I’m sold – book me in for lunch, dinner and the Sunday special!

Wanna know how the neighbour’s got on?
