5 ways to bring colour into your bathroom
Bored of your white bathroom? Forget bringing in pops of colour with towels and plants, Megan Dack of Interiora in Newlyn shows us five ways to bring in colour when you design your upgrade.
Bespoke coloured towel rail
Towel rails might be stainless steel underneath but you don’t have to have them that shiny chrome colour if you don’t want. Retaining all the quality but in your unique choice of colour, the brackets and valves can be painted the same colour too, colour matched or chosen from the RAL chart (that’s the standard colour chart, by the way, which everyone uses to pick paint).
A more classic way to bring colour, for sure, but still a good one. From hand painted, hand-fired tiles, in a mix and match, one or two huge ones for dramatic impact behind a white sink, to a full on wall of matching ones across the floor and walls, there are endless options with tiles.
Paint isn’t just limited to walls and ceilings you know – colour match your furniture to your tiles, or choose from a RAL chart to make it stand out, or blend in.
Inject as much or as little character as you like with this awesome service – Interiora work with their local car body shop who uses car paint to spray the bath any colour you like. From tasteful greens right the way through to the boldest oranges and yellows, you can also add black or brushed brass taps and shower fittings to give your bathroom that extra wow factor.
Coloured grouts and silicones
Forget looking the same as everyone else, this is fast becoming a very popular way of creating a very different look. Gone are the days where it has be white – choose from fifty shades of grey, as well as blue and even pale green.
