Crantock Bay Apartments
Well thought out self-catering luxury apartments with access to spa and bistro, looking out over the North Cornwall coast and next to the West Pentire wildflower meadows.
Crantock Bay Apartments are 5-star luxury self-catering properties, all with glorious sea views. Residents and members can make use of the onsite spa, indoor swimming pool and tennis court in the CBay building.
Crantock beach is just steps away from the apartments, with the beaches of Porth Joke and Holywell a short walk through fields. The more famous surfing beaches of Newquay to the north and Perranporth to the south are a short drive away.
In summer, the surrounding cliff tops and meadows are ablaze with wildflowers including poppies, making it an Instagrammers delight (don’t walk on the poppies!). All the nearby beaches are dog-friendly all year round and dogs are welcomed in the apartments as well as the cafe.
All 15 different holiday apartments have a sea-view and open plan living as well as outside space. With a combination of 2, 3 and 4 bedroomed apartments, split-level apartments and the 4 bedroomed three-story Surf Holiday Home, all of which are privately owned but centrally managed by the team at Crantock Bay Apartments, there’s something to suit every group.
The CBay building which includes the Crantock Bay Spa and CBay Bistro & Bar is at the side of the apartments. Upstairs is the spa where alongside the usual manis and pedis you can also get massages, facials and Cancer Touch Therapy. The products are from the ethical and award-winning Made for Life Organics, and bonus, are Cornish. Downstairs, you’ll find the heated indoor swimming pool and spa bath, with floor-to-ceiling windows looking over the coast.
The CBay cafe, bar and bistro is open all day to non-residents as well as those in the apartments, with most tables looking out over the sea. In summer, grab a table on the sun terrace or in the garden, which opens onto the south-west coast path, welcoming walkers, bikers and dogs.
The cafe serves delicious breakfasts, coffee and cake as well as lunches and afternoon teas. The more sophisticated evening menu incorporates locally sourced seasonal ingredients in dishes with Cornish and British influences, alongside locally caught sustainable fish.
