Airfish Circus ‘Naughty and Nice’, The Acorn, Penzance, Fri 20 Dec (No under 18s)

A ‘Christmas Circus Spectacular’ for adults only! Join Airfish Circus on a racy and raucous romp, designed to put you in the party mood, and set you up for a happy holiday season, no kids allowed.

Think of this show as a fantastic excuse to dress up and have a ball, inside an elaborate pop up Christmas Card, with a smattering of burlesque glamour, and don’t forget your mistletoe!

Montol, Penzance, (21 Dec )

Montol is Cornwall’s traditional festival of midwinter on 21 Dec (the Winter Solstice) in Penzance. Dancers in full disguise, called Guisers, parade the streets, accompanied by music from peccadillos, drumming and burning torches.

Christmas Maker’s Market, Potager Gardens (20-22 Dec)

Need to finish your Crimbo shopping? Head for the beautiful Potager Gardens – where local artists and makers are getting together to allow you two whole days amongst plants, arts, crafts and very tasty foods!!

Carols at Trelissik (21 Dec)

The Riverside Singers perform carols in the Court Yard at 4.30pm – get into the festive mood at Truro’s beautiful National Trust garden.

Solstice Wild Sing & Play, Mount Pleasant Ecological Park (21 Dec)

Come gather round the fire to celebrate the longest night and return of the light. Expect uplifting, nourishing and magical harmonies, connect to nature and take some time for ourselves. Suitable for toddlers and upwards. Tickets required.

Beach Guardian Beach Clean Trevone Bay (21 Dec) & Constantine Bay (22 Dec)

Fancy something outside in a break from the festivities? Try joining the Beach Guardian team for a beach clean. Meet 10am, all equipment will be provided and the organisers will remove everything collected. Get some fresh air – Santa costumes optional!

A celebration of everything Christmassy. From fir trees, fairy lights, sleigh bells and snowflakes to crackers, carols, presents and puddings! Try and spot some naughty elves, meet a snowman who lives in the fridge, say hello to an over-excited Christmas puppy, endure the world’s worst Christmas jumper. Join the hunt for the magical Twelve Sprouts of Christmas and gaze in awe at the beautiful Christmas tree fairy… (matinee and evening performance).
