Featuring work by Kurt Jackson, Wolfgang Buttress and Amy Shelton, this insightful exhibition of science and contemporary art presents new views on bees and other native pollinators: their vital role, their extraordinary lives, their plight and the story of our native dark honey bees (Apis mellifera mellifera) and the role they play. A crash landing of self expression, communication, action and reaction through live music, dance, theatre, and digital media. As part of the 19th National Storytelling Week celebrations, illustrator and storyteller Gary Cordingley is coming to Potager to blend the delicate flavours of the Middle East with a touch of the Mythological Underworld and the sweet taste of West Africa in an evening that combines delicious food and fabulous stories. Daisy, Potager’s Head Chef, has devised a three course vegetarian menu that will reflect the themes of Gary’s stories, including Palestinian cauliflower and cumin fritters and Sumac and lemon roasted winter vegetables. £30pp
