A play for the whole family! The Railway Children is a heart-warming tale of an Edwardian family whose lives are turned upside down following the mysterious disappearance of their father. The Railway Children’s cast includes a host of Cornish acting talent alongside members of the Minack Youth Theatre.

This affectionate tribute proudly reclaims the Brontes for the SW, homages Charlotte, Emily and Anne through storytelling, music, audience games and sketches and is all brought to you by hosts Monika(glamour puss, academic, thespian) and her assistant Brannie (dogsbody, ensemble cast, backstage crew), create wuthering delights in a show that is the anarchic love child of French and Saunders and Hinge and Bracket.

Roots Reggae Roast, Mount Pleasant Eco Park, Porthtowan, Sun 15 April
There will be three opportunities to enjoy a Roots Reggae Roast in association with Keep Cornwall Fed at Mount Pleasant Eco Park this month. Enjoy a delicious vegan/veggie roast, local ales and cider from the Eco Park Barn, while you listen to tropical tunes that will transport you from the rolling fields of Cornwall to the Jamaican coast. 3 delicious main course choices will be served (one will always be Vegan) alongside seasonal veg, roasties, Yorkshire pud and your choice of Rich Veg or our Special Jerk Gravy. Adults portion £10 / Kids portion £5.50 . For every meal sold, Keep Cornwall Fed will donate a healthy hot meal to someone living in food poverty.
