Mawgan Porth comes over all midcentury modern

Just a quicky to remind you that the Bedruthan Hotel and Spa, in Mawgan Porth are holding a splendiferous vintage event today and tomorrow (Sat/Sun 12/13 Mar). Your Muddy correspondent is here live blogging from the show! I’m like a vintage Kate Aidee.

I’m sooo excited about this as I’m a hoooge vintage fan – Muddy Manor is an eclectic mix of styles and I’ve seen a number of things that are coming home with me right now. The exhibition feature an eclectic mix of midcentury homewares, furniture, antiques, collectables, handmade and vintage-inspired prettiness, fashion and beauty.IMG_2974

With over 50 stalls, stunning sea views and a pop-up tearoom, this fair is the most vibrant of its kind. Worth seeking out warehouse 18 for furniture, get your hair done by Francine Owens, lighting by relitKernow, vintage kids clothing by Curious Tinker, and Silly Old Sea Dog, – oh and check out lampshade aficionados Emporium of Illumination

Mr MC bought me a birthday zombie dress from Silly Old Seadog

The event is sold out today – they are expecting 1500 people, and I can vouch for that – it was packed this morning.

If you can get down tomorrow, do – It’s perfect for design collectables from furniture to ceramics and glassware, modern vintage inspired home wares and gifts, fashion, clothing, accessories and beauty, workshops and music

vintage fairTickets are FREE – a right Brucey bonus, but do ‘sell out’ – there’s no tickets for this afternoon, but tomorrow looks good (last time I checked) so book online  to avoid disappointment.

Sat 12 – Sun 13 Mar From 10am Bedruthan Hotel and Spa, Trenance, Mawgan Porth, Newquay, TR8 4BU

Great event! I bought a beautiful hand made dress for a special toddler and old beano comics for my grandson but could have spent a lot more! Well worth a visit as well as a stunning beach
