Eden Project, Bodelva

Three reasons to get your skates on (ha) and get down to the EP this month:

The ice-rink is open until Feb half term. Little ones can hire the penguin skating to gain confidence and manual wheel chairs are welcome on the ice too.

Admission, with an additional charge of £7 for adults, £6 for children applies.

As darkness falls, the Festival of Light and Sound transforms Eden’s winter landscape with light projections, music and colour.

Multiple laser systems will interact in amazing ways with natural phenomena such as rain, mist, plants, trees and people – as well as nature-inspired architectural forms –  to create an unforgettable visual feast. From 5pm daily.

Lastly, FC is in the house! Mr Christmas and his elves have sent up camp right up until Christmas Eve.

See ‘behind the scenes’, including the elves’ bunkbeds, the pigeonholes full of children’s letters, and all the stockings laid out ready for the big day.

After settling down for a story beside an open fire, each child can enjoy a special moment with the man in red.

Special sessions for those with autism and sensory or communication needs. Book your slot in advance.
