What’s on: Thurs 15 – Wed 21 Sept

Decisions decisions! So much going on this weekend I need a cloning potion to do it all – or extra arms and legs. Do me a favour and hit one of these events up, then let me know what fun I missed.

Pizzas, mods, rockers, eyebrows, silent disco yoga (yep that’s a thing!) music, more cider and foooood, all stacked up in Muddy’s marvelous calendar of daily events (full calendar for the weeks ahead HERE) – search by category or by town.

There are no upcoming events at this time.

Multiple day events are listed below. Enjoy x

Circus Funtasia, St Austell Thurs 15 – Sun 18 Sept

circus-fantasiaWhat is a circus funtastia? Yep I had to do my research. It’s a 100% all human travelling circus featuring a dazzling assortment of acts that will both amaze and amuse. A mixture of acrobatic, comedy and aerial feats, motorbike globe riders, and a death defying wheel of death – not a man eating lion or flying elephant in sight. This band is a far cry from circuses of yesteryear – the big top is even heated for seasonal cosiness.  There are two shows a day between now and sunday.

5pm and 7:30pm Circus Funtasia, Circus Field, Truro Road, St Austell, PL26 7DS

Newquay Fish Festival, Newquay Harbour Fri 16 – Sun 18 Sept

I love the fact that Cornwall is THE county for festivals – I must have been to one a week since May – last week cider, this week fiiiiish (and seafood). See top telly chefs and locals demonstrate how to make the most of the bounty on our doorstep. Entertainment comes in the form of a sandcastle competition and ‘fishy’ encounters organised by the nearby Blue Reef Aquarium, harbour entertainment, refreshments, arts, and crafts for all the family. Proms, ceihli and lots of singing for you too.

Newquay Fish Festival, Newquay Harbour, South Quay, Newquay TR7 1HR

Little Eden under fives club, Eden Project, Bodelva Thurs 15 Sept – Thurs 20 Oct
