Wouldn’t you though?

This wouldn’t you though? is so scorchingly superhero hot, its like Inferno Man on honeymoon, somewhere hot. Because today people is launch day for Cuddle Punch – a brand spanking new online illustration team providing personalised superhero prints.

Cuddle Punch are aka Asa and Ruth –  a comic book geek and domestic goddess living on Dartmoor with all the cliches that come with a house in the country. Before setting up their new business, Ruth was a teacher, and Asa a concept artist in computer games. As glamorous as that sounds (to geeks at least) he found himself mostly drawing variations of ‘paint tin’. When Ruth came up with a few scribbles of a drawing she wanted Asa to do for a friend’s wedding, once framed it look pretty awesome. Tons of positive feedback later (and a few more presents for friends), they’ve gone all professional and got their own online shop which they’re positively giddy about!

On all the designs you can change the  skin tone, hair colour, clothes colour, headings, names and the text at the bottom on a few others you can take out or add elements and on my favourite (you’ll have to guess which one that is) you can choose from four different types of moustache!

little-girl-heroI can’t think of who these wouldn’t be suitable for – a wedding gift, father’s day, birthday, christening, bar mitzvahs – you name it. Got a friend who’s a personal trainer? That Strongman pose would go down a treat.

They come framed and mounted in white or black wooden frames and postage is included (big tick and a gold star from me on that). Printing is local and the frames are made in the UK. They’ll post your gift anywhere you want – either to your home address or the recipients.

Asa and Ruth plan to add more designs as demand allows, and even have a few limited edition runs as well, so keep watching folks, this is just the beginning!
