Visit Aloft in Padstow and you will just know that the owners hand pick everything they sell, with many brands not found anywhere else on the high street, often discovered on Kim and Beth’s pre-covid European travels. Aloft stocks a curated collection of mens and ladies casual wear, beach essentials and accessories from brands with a key focus on sustainability and slow fashion.

Established in Padstow in 2015, with a second Cornish outpost at the Trevisker Garden Centre on the outskirts of the town, there is also the online shop – a lot of fans either live in Padstow, or discover the shop on their holiday. The Padstow shop is super friendly and laid back, where you can take your time (waiting partners can be furnished with a newspaper and coffee). Brands stocked include casual and outdoor coastal wear from Holebrook of Sweden, Brodie Cashmere, Numph, Sugarhill Brighton and Hartford, as well as Alofts’ own sustainable range of shirts, dresses and knitwear.
