Say hello to the exclusive monthly Supper Club experience for the winter months. The hotel is inviting guests and locals once again to join them at the waterside restaurant for a relaxed evening and opportunity to try some wonderful seasonal dishes.

Complete with a unique 3-course menu curated by the Head Chef, the evenings offer the chance to meet The Idle Rocks’ kitchen team and taste some of their newest creations. Large parties are also very welcome too; the chef’s’ table can accommodate up to 12 guests – perfect for a celebration with family or friends. £65pp and include a wonderful 3 course dinner, along with a welcome drink and coffee with petit fours. Repeats monthly throughout Autumn, Winter & Spring, until May 2025.

The menu is never published beforehand as it is written after the gardeners have listed what’s available or what’s in season, which makes this unique experience completely ingredient led.

Expect a cosy evening by the log burner, under the twinkly lights, as we celebrate this Harvest time. The chefs will be showcasing the produce of this Autumnal month, with root vegetables, potatoes, squash, pumpkins, onions, windfall apples and pears as well as our own rare breed meat. £70pp includes a welcome cocktail and 7 courses.

Zacry’s at Watergate Bay, Sat 9 Nov

Honouring the turn of the seasons, executive head chef Chris Eden is introducing diners to his brand-new autumn menu launching in Zacry’s on Saturday 9 November in collaboration with Cloudy Bay. Expect three courses drawing on the depths of Cornwall’s plentiful larder, from field to ocean. Each dish will be paired with a different Cloudy Bay wine, including their delicately sparkling Pelorus. Three courses for £65pp

Featuring Duchy Grub’s renowned fish heavy “7 bays” tasting menu, complemented by an optional wine pairing from Plonk’d, get your tickets for either the 1pm or 5pm sitting, £70pp, not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.

Wine Supper with Bat & Bottle, The Gurnard’s Head, Zennor, Thurs 14 Nov

Head to the The Gurnard’s Head for this lovely sounding supper which will be taking place on 14 November, hosted by Ben Robson of Bat & Bottle . There will be an Italian themed menu and five courses. Starting at 7pm, £85pp.

Autumnal Game Feast, The PIG at Harlyn Bay, Thurs 21 Nov

Autumnal gems don’t appear on The PIG menus for long so they are hosting a four-course game feast, with guests Scott Martin and Luca Dusi. Scott from Duchy Game is their go-to expert in Cornwall for supplying wild, traceable Cornish game sourced under license from local Cornish Estates. In this special evening, you’ll enjoy four carefully curated game courses supplied by Scott – think tender Rabbit & Pigeon Breast Terrine with Preserved Currants & Homemade Sourdough, followed by juicy Loin of Venison with Artichoke Puree & Garden Greens served with Braised Shoulder Gratin & Ruby Port Sauce.

Your night will begin with a welcome glass of Italian Fizz Malibran Col Fondo and Braised Pheasant & Cornish Gouda Croquettes to nibble on, before heading down to the cosy, candlelit tables in the Scullery to tuck into your hearty four-course game feast. Each dish will be served with perfectly paired wine supplied by our good friend Luca Dusi – owner and founder of Passione Vino.

Soul Farm Community Feast, Sun 22 Sept

Soul Farm are opening up their walled garden on Trefusis Estate from 4pm for you to look around and chat with members of the team, then at 6pm, everyone will eat together, sharing vegetarian or vegan dishes, each themed after one of 12 vegetables, crafted by a local chef that the farm supplies. You’ll need to bring a plate, cutlery, cup and your own drinks (soft beverages will be on sale).

Proceeds from the feast will fund their new Solidarity project, subsidising much more fresh, organic food for local low income households and people experiencing food insecurity.

Harvest Feast, Nancarrow Farm, Thurs 26 Sept

Enjoy a drink on arrival and nibbles from the Woodfired Kitchen before taking your seats for a four-course feast. There will be a set menu for the evening which is yet to be confirmed, but will feature Nancarrow’s home-reared beef or lamb alongside plenty of local, seasonal ingredients including fresh vegetables from the kitchen garden. Feasts nights are a communal dining event, where guests mingle and interact with others over dinner at the table. £50pp, add B&B and make a night of it.

The aroma of Cornish seafood cooking over flame in the idyllic setting of the gardens is what summer is all about here. The Meudon Sunday BBQ must be tasted to be believed, offering perfectly char-grilled, fresh-from-the-boat fish, meat and locally grown vegetables, step outside and taste the summertime.

It is incredibly rare to see fish in the kitchen and on the tables at the farm at Coombeshead, the team from Argoe is making the trip from Newlyn to collab at the farm. Mostly sold out, but a few left up for grabs from 3:30 onwards. £65 pp.

Celebrate the grape harvest along with harvest festival, Barnaby’s are putting on a cosy autumnal feast, served on shared tables, feasting style. Tickets are £75 pp and include a welcome drink.

Heligan x The PIG Lost Suppers, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Fri 11 October

This collab will be dishing up a five-course tasting menu that’s packed full of flavour, and uses the freshest and finest Heligan ingredients. The supper will be prepared by Head Chef at THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay, Tom Holloway, alongside Heligan Chef, Alex Martin. Featuring the finest homegrown heritage produce and Heligan rare breed meats, you can dine in style just 157 yards from the Productive Gardens, although the menu is never published beforehand as it is written after the gardeners have listed what’s available or what’s in season, which makes it completely ingredient led.

Lost Suppers are about connections, the connection between people, the soil, the planet and food. In the current climate it’s never been more important to talk about food miles and eating from the land has always been the way at Heligan, that’s what it was built for. Held within the Heligan Kitchen Conservatory. Doors will open at 6:30pm with a welcome drink for all upon arrival. £80pp.

Chef Nathan Outlaw is bringing Fish Kitchen to Four Boys for one night only. Expect seafood sharing plates, Fish Kitchen classics and a few of Nathan’s favourite dishes. £120pp.

Autumn Feast, Carbis Bay, Fri 18 and Sat 19 October

Celebrate the season of harvest. With the turning of leaves comes the vibrant autumn colours and with the darkening nights, the warmth of a candle-lit glow. Join the team at Carbis Bay who will be serving autumn delights such as Cornish mulled cyder, butternut squash and rib of beef, and apple crumble with creamy custard. A live Cornish band will set the mood for an evening feasting and making merry. The evening will take place in The Orangery Restaurant located in The Main House, which will be tastefully dressed for Autumn for the whole of October. Tickets £55pp and include 6-courses with a welcome drink on arrival. All dietaries catered for.

One to look out for on social – newly opened sustainable food and drink education space, Agweres at Lanteague Studios will host regular chef and winemaker supper clubs. Suppers will feature guest chefs from Cornwall and beyond, creating dishes to pair with wines chosen by Wild Wine School and Agweres founder Debbie Warner. Special Winemaker Suppers hosted by visiting vignerons. Expect great food and wine, and thoughtful conversations about our food, drink and farming systems.
