<p>Adam Handling&#8217;s Cornish restaurant Ugly Butterfly is now offering afternoon tea &#8211; with a festive makeover for December. Celebrating the history and tradition of the iconic British afternoon tea, whilst maintaining Ugly Butterfly’s ethos of celebrating the very best of Cornish produce and reflecting the sustainable philosophy, the tea takes guests on a journey around Cornwall. Available Weds &#8211; Sat, 12-5pm.</p>

<p>A Festive Afternoon Tea is served in the new elegant Orangery restaurant at <a href="https://www.duchyofcornwallnursery.co.uk/cafe/the-orangery">The Duchy of Cornwall Nursery</a>. A classic three-tiered stand for two, adorned with all manner of delectable fancies and more-ish savouries. Flavours are inspired from the Nursery, neighbouring farms, and the turn of each season. £30pp, add a glass of Prosecco at £36pp or for the ultimate luxury (min 3 people) or splash out on a glass of Camel Valley Brut at £50pp (min 4 people). The Festive Afternoon tea is served every day in The Orangery from 2.30pm and must be booked 24 hours in advance -until 31 December (excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day).</p>

<p>Handmade and served on the chicest vintage crockery, afternoon tea is served at the grade-II listed manor house on Fridays and Saturdays. The menu features savouries (no sarnies here) and sweet treats &#8211; and is open to non-residents too. Adults only.</p>

My kids adored the special kids version complete with jam sandwiches and snowflake shortcake biscuits and their own pots of tea! </p>
