Turn a New Leaf Walk, Lost Gardens of Heligan (6 Jan – 29 Feb)
The team at Heligan have created two healthy, restorative walks around the gorgeous gardens and estate at Heligan. Choose a longer, more challenging route around the wider Estate or the shorter, more accessible route around the Garden. Each walk takes in seasonal horticultural highlights and fascinating facts of the abundant flora and fauna. Pick up walk details at the entrance and enjoy at your own pace.
Sing for your heart, sing for your soul, Mount Pleasant Eco Park (8 Jan)
Monthly soulful singing session in the Barn on the first Wednesday of every month. Experience the joy and exhilaration of singing in 3 or 4 part harmonies. Expect folk, gospel, Georgian, African and more.
Dawn Beacon Lighting (Chapel Carn Brea) (9 Jan)
As part of the celebrations of 125 years of the National Trust, beacons are being lit across the country at 6:30am. Join early risers as the sun comes up on Chapel Carn Brea (also known as Britain’s First and Last Hill) near Sennen. Family-friendly, dogs on leads welcome. Wrap up warm and wear appropriate footwear.
Ice Skating at Eden, The Eden Project, Bodelva (Until 23 Feb 2020)
Eden’s glittering ice rink – the only indoor rink in Cornwall – is open until 23 Feb. Choose from family fun sessions, hire penguins and snowmen to assist with skating and warm up with a rink-side hot choc afterward.
