Award buttons 2016 Master - Cornwall_winner

That’s it, the Muddy Stilettos Awards 2016 are officially over! Many congratulations to the 30 brilliant businesses that have been crowned Winners this year.

After weeks of hard-fought competition, with a nail biting head-to-head final and an incredible 14,500+ (yup!) of you lovely, loyal Cornsih folk casting your votes for your favourite local shops, businesses and people, the Muddy’s have come to a glorious close.

Muddy Stilettos Cornwall celebrates all that our fair county has to offer; the quirky, the interesting, the old and the new. If I do say so myself, it is a witty but indispensable local guide to the very best restaurants, walks, boutiques, day trips, hotels, interiors and events, but it’s also a platform for local businesses to get their message across and show readers what an amazing and creative county we live in.

Thank you all so much for voting and taking part. I had no idea the awards would be so popular or closely contested but it’s pretty obvious that you all care deeply about your local indie shops and services. At its peak, the site royally crashed with all the last minute voting and we had to extend until 12:20. Six hours of counting and verifying the winners were live on the blog.

Right, enough bla-di-bla from me… WHO FLIPPIN’ WON?!
