<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-warm-up-in-the-sauna">Warm up in the sauna</h2>



<p>At Saunas by the Sea at Polzeath and Harlyn the wood-fired stove sends the temperatures up to proper sauna temperatures. No limp mid-60s here which barely takes the edge of, my January trip to Polzeath was so good that a dip became a positive necessity (and it&#8217;s looking pretty flat this week too, which makes it even more appealing). There&#8217;s also coastal saunas at various other locations around the coasts including Penzance.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-try-the-viewing-platform-in-the-rainforest-biome">Try the viewing platform in the Rainforest biome</h2>



<p>The higher up you head in the Eden Project&#8217;s <a href="https://www.edenproject.com/visit/things-to-do/rainforest-biome">Rainforest biome</a>, the hotter it gets. Temperatures range from 18–35°C (wear layers!) and although it won&#8217;t be reaching 35°C at the moment, it is still a lot warmer than outside. The very highest temps can be found at the sky level viewing platform but the rope bridge below is a good family friendly compromise. <em>Note &#8211; only open weekends until 1 Feb, with the exception of 25 and 26 Jan.</em></p>
