<p>Celebrate Autumn with Sophie of Sophie&#8217;s Flowers where you&#8217;ll learn to make a large, autumnal wreath. Sophie will be sharing her tips and tricks, as well as how to work with autumnal foliage, and will be on hand to help. You will finish with a beautiful, autumnal wreath tied with a velvet ribbon, bursting with gorgeous autumn colours and cornish, foraged foliage. Take your wreath home with you to adorn your own door, as well as Sophie&#8217;s bespoke flower notebook and plenty of inspiration for wreath making in the future. 6-8pm, £85pp all materials and refreshments included. This class is suitable for all levels and no experience is necessary, but if you have dabbled with flowers before, please do bring your trusty secateurs.</p>

<p>In the spirit of Harvest, this feast night is a good old fashioned rural get together – celebrating the best of the season, for just 50 people.</p>



<p>Expect long communal feast tables, rustically decorated, for a convivial dining experience set amongst the distillery’s stills. Guests are greeted with canapés and a seasonal harvest cocktail, featuring Colwith’s Aval Dor Vodka, on arrival, followed by a two-course meal created by Colwith Farm Kitchen.</p>



<p>The menu includes Cornish beef topside, braised short rib, herb crushed vodka infused roast potatoes, roast root vegetables, thyme, and gravy (vegan/vegetarian option also available). Followed by mulled winter fruits, served with cinnamon ice-cream or Cornish clotted cream.</p>



<p>After the feast live music will be provided by the locally acclaimed, Lostwithiel based, band Pitch Black. 6-11pm – feast &amp; live music (£45pp)</p>

<p>From Fitzroy’s head chef Ethan, his wife Hazel and his wine loving brother, Joel – they make use of the Fitzroy building in Fowey to host supper clubs and deli-style takeaway days.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Take afternoon tea with the Grand High Witch whilst drinking in the sweeping ocean view and effortless grandeur of the hotel, which was the spectacular location for the hit 1990 film adaptation starring Anjelica Huston and Rowan Atkinson. Tea includes clotted cream scones, seasonal sandwiches and sweet treats, all of which will have a bewitching twist, like white chocolate mice, pumpkin cheesecake, treacle tart and blackberry and apple trifle. £39 per adult and £19.50 for under-12s on the days the Grand High Witch is visiting, or £35 per adult and £17.50 for children when she is causing trouble elsewhere…</p>

<p>Luke Jerram’s spectacular touring artwork is hung in Truro Cathedral – measuring seven metres in diameter, Gaia features 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the Earth’s surface and is suspended above the cathedral Crossing, providing the opportunity to see the planet on this scale, floating in three dimensions. A specially made surround-sound composition by BAFTA award winning Composer Dan Jones will be played alongside the sculpture.&nbsp;Free, but look out for ticketed events.</p>

<p>is an exhibition of prints by Fay Godwin, one of the most respected and significant British photographers of the 20th century. This exhibition represents a selection from what photo-historian Ian Jeffrey has described as a unique photographic ‘survey’ of the landscape of Britain, carried out by Fay Godwin for exhibitions and books between 1972 – 1994 and particularly celebrates her pioneering attention to environmental issues.</p>

<p>Running for over 40 years&nbsp;Lowender&nbsp;Celtic Festival is returning to Redruth this October Half Term.&nbsp;Lowender&nbsp;is Kernewek for ‘celebration’ and the family friendly festival is a four day celebration of Cornish culture and our Celtic connections. Music, dance and Cornish language feature on the jam packed programme where there is something for one and all. Bring the whole family as kids go free!</p>



<p>300 performers will be taking part in the event with international acts featuring on the line up as well as free activities to involve the local community.</p>
