<p>Miracle Theatre are giving their magical twist and love of laughter to the classic story of&nbsp;<em><a href="https://miracletheatre.co.uk/shows/peer-gynt/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Peer Gynt</a>&nbsp;–&nbsp;</em>and tickets are on sale now<em>.</em>&nbsp;Young Peer is a lazy dreamer, who misinterprets Shakespeare’s advice “To thine own self be true” to mean “Look after number one”! He chases after riches and pleasure and lives a life of moral failure and endless excuses. Surely, he will come to no good?</p>



<p>Loosely based on Ibsen’s epic comedy, this famous morality tale is perfect material for Miracle Theatre’s highly visual style – physical, funny, surreal and deeply human – a journey through the dream-like world of Norse mythology, peopled with cranky characters, trolls and other bizarre creatures – a comedy of terrors! <p>Cornwall’s first ever aviation and aerospace festival, <a href="http://www.tecgirls.co.uk/reach-for-the-sky-festival" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Reach for the Sky</strong></a>, is back at Cornwall Airport Newquay on <strong>Sat 20 and Sun 21 June</strong>, organised by Truro based TECgirls. Free to attend for children, £20 for adults, Reach for the Sky is a unique festival in Cornwall that aims to provide girls with an enriching and immersive experience that opens their eyes to the opportunities that are available to them within the aviation and aerospace industry and inspires them to chase their dreams.</p>

<p><strong><a href="http://www.golowanfestival.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Golowan</a>&nbsp;&amp; Mazey Day (Fri 19 – Sun 28 June)</strong>&nbsp;Penzance really knows how to throw a street party and Golowan is the traditional celebration of midsummer, marked with music, serpent dances, fairs, greenery and banners. Expect fireworks on Mazey Eve or bring the family to Mazey Day to see the parade of incredible, giant sculptures.</p>

<p>Make a weekend of it by heading over to Bude for the <strong><a href="https://www.shorelineactivities.co.uk/events/shoreline-triathlon/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Shoreline Triathlon</a> (Sun 21 June)</strong>, an Open Water Sprint Triathlon along the coastline of beautiful North Cornwall. 500m sea swim, protected by the Bude breakwater, 11 mile cycle along coastal roads and 3 mile run along canal towpaths and country lanes.</p>
